Terms of Service

Rules and conditions for using conversion services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of at https://pptbox.org (the "Service"), operated by S P Luminous Information Technology (registration no. 1050342), Office 350-051, Schon Business Park, Dubai Investments Park, Dubai 15804, United Arab Emirates, registered in United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

provides online conversion between PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) and PDF formats. You upload files, we process them on our servers, and you download the converted output. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee perfect formatting fidelity, layout preservation, or compatibility with every file version or feature (animations, embedded media, macros, etc.).

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where we discontinue a paid plan you have prepaid, we will provide a pro-rata refund for unused prepaid fees where required by applicable law.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately at mrktsales2025@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share account access except with authorized administrators within your organization.

3. Your content

You retain all rights and ownership in files and data you upload ("User Files"). We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit User Files solely to provide the Service and enforce these Terms.

We access User Files only as needed to: (a) perform conversions; (b) respond to support requests; (c) detect abuse, fraud, or security issues; (d) comply with law; or (e) improve the Service. Uploaded content is never executed. See our Privacy Policy for retention and deletion practices.

You are solely responsible for backing up your files. We are not liable for loss, corruption, or deletion of User Files or converted output.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload malicious files, malware, or content you do not have the right to use or convert
  • Violate intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
  • Abuse rate limits, automate access beyond permitted API use, or circumvent tier limits
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or access the Service except through our provided interface
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without our written consent
  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable export or sanctions laws
  • Overload or interfere with the Service or other users' access

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. For paid accounts terminated for cause, refunds are not guaranteed except where required by law.

5. Free plan

The free plan is available at no charge on an ongoing basis. It includes 2 conversions per day, a maximum file size of 15 MB, and a watermark on PDF exports (ppt to pdf and pptx to pdf). PDF to PowerPoint output is not watermarked. "Free forever" means the free tier remains available — not unlimited conversions, file sizes, or features. Guest users are subject to the same daily limits via an essential cookie; see our Cookie Policy.

6. Paid plans and billing

The Premium plan is described on our Pricing page. Premium is available as $9 per month (billed monthly) or $60 per year (billed annually). Subscriptions are processed through Creem as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

6.1 Subscribing

  1. Sign in or create an account at https://pptbox.org.
  2. Open Billing & subscription or the Pricing page and choose Premium (monthly or yearly).
  3. Complete checkout on Creem's secure payment page (card and wallets where available).
  4. Your plan activates when payment succeeds. Renewal dates and usage limits are shown in your dashboard.

6.2 Renewal and charges

  • Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date shown in your dashboard.
  • Renewal notice: We may send email reminders before upcoming charges.
  • Failed payments: If payment fails, we may retry charges and temporarily restrict paid features until payment succeeds or the subscription is cancelled.
  • Price changes: We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice (email or in-app). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, or you may cancel before the new price applies.
  • Taxes: Prices may exclude applicable VAT, sales tax, or similar levies, which you are responsible for where applicable.

6.3 Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation does not delete your account.

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Billing & subscription (Dashboard → Billing).
  3. Click Cancel subscription and confirm on the confirmation screen.
  4. Your cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period. You keep paid features until that date and will not be charged again for the next period.
  5. After the period ends, your account automatically moves to the free plan (subject to free-tier limits).

To undo a scheduled cancellation before the period ends, open the same billing page and click Keep my subscription. You may also update your payment method or download invoices via Payment method & invoices (Creem customer portal) on that page.

If online cancellation is unavailable, email mrktsales2025@gmail.com from your account email and we will process your request promptly.

6.4 Refunds

Fees already paid for the current billing period are generally non-refundable when you cancel mid-cycle, because paid access continues until the period ends. Consumers may have a 14-day cancellation right on initial Premium purchases as described in our Refund Policy. Other refund requests are handled in line with applicable consumer protection law and Creem's policies. Contact mrktsales2025@gmail.com for billing questions or refund requests.

7. API access

Premium includes API access subject to fair use, authentication via API keys, and documented rate limits. API keys are confidential. Misuse or sharing of keys may result in suspension.

8. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own all rights in the Service, software, branding, and documentation. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with your plan. No other rights are granted.

9. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION, OR THAT CONVERSION RESULTS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) USD 100 or (b) the fees you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless S P Luminous Information Technology, its affiliates, officers, and employees from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Files, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles. EU/EEA consumers retain the benefit of mandatory consumer protection laws in their country of residence. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless your local law requires otherwise.

Before formal proceedings, contact us at mrktsales2025@gmail.com to seek informal resolution. We will try to resolve disputes within 30 days.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. For material adverse changes to paid subscribers, we will provide reasonable notice where required by law.
